The fund seeks to increase the value of your investment, and outperform the benchmark, over the recommended holding period, while achieving a greater ESG score than the benchmark. The Sub-Fund invests mainly in equities of Chinese companies that are involved in the new energy and technologies value chain. Specifically, the sub-fund invests at least 85% of net assets in equities and equity-linked instruments of companies that are located or do most of their business in the People’s Republic of China, including at least 51% of the net assets in companies where most of their activities are related to clean energy production including renewables, infrastructure which enables the distribution of clean energy, technologies that reduce energy consumption and companies which finance or facilitates energy transition and new technologies in the field.
