The investment objective of the Fund is to provide capital growth over the long term by investing primarily in equity securities which adhere to Sharia principles as interpreted and laid down by the Sharia Committee. The equity securities in which the Fund will invest shall consist primarily of common stocks permitted by Sharia. The equity securities in which the Fund may invest will not be selected from any particular industry sector or from any particular country and will typically have a market capitalisation of at least U.S.$1 billion at the time of purchase.
