The fund’s objective is to generate a return, irrespective of the market trends, with a reduction of risk in the event of a downturn and the possibility of a lower return, in the event of an upturn. For that purpose, the Sub-Fund will be invested in equities, equity-linked instruments and bonds/convertible bonds as well as financial derivatives through long positions: - of issuers domiciled in emerging countries or - of issuers of any country where the underlying is economically linked directly or indirectly to an issuer domiciled in an emerging country, or - of issues denominated in the currencies of emerging countries or exposed economically to emerging-country currencies or - of issues linked to “emerging-country risks”.
